About

I have always been fascinated by outer space. While in college, I read all of Carl Sagan’s books and focused my life to support space exploration. My fascination has always been rooted in questions like: where are we in space? and why we are here?

While working at my dream company, Blue Origin, I found myself conflicted. Although I was working on my dream work, I kept seeing stories of wildfires, CO2 global emissions creeping upwards, amazon rainforest deforestation, coral bleaching events, among many others. All of these made me question if what I was doing was helping or hurting the biosphere, “the only home we’ve ever known” (Carl Sagan).

I then made a shift: I enrolled in a Master’s program to learn more about sustainable development and regeneration. I decided to become part of the solution. Through this program along with my deep fascination and work experience in aerospace, I decided to make a change.
