Circular Economy

Circular Economy was an elective class I took as part of my MRDS degree. This class focused on developing initiatives and business models that bring circularity – a form of sustainability – to the real world.

Throughout the class, I participated in a team to complete the Grupo Carlos Santamaría (GCS) circular economy initiative. This initiative utilized real-world data from GCS to both improve their current operations as well as develop new products and markets that help the company economically and the environment. Yes, it is possible! The below reports highlight this fact.

Additionally, as shown in the Circular Economy applied to Blue Origin page, I developed a personal project based on bringing circularity to Blue Origin. This effort culminated in an initiative to size and develop a liquified hydrogen plant at Blue Origin’s New Shepard launch facility – thus bridging circularity into aerospace engineering.
