This course focused on the numerous aspects in which finance can lead to sustainable practices and investments. Specifically, I researched green bonds, impact investing, and what options are available for businesses and individuals to invest in sustainable finance.
This class gave me a great insight, and practice, into the importance of cash flow management within an organization and how organizations can leverage sustainable practices to access new funding.
Additionally, I researched and had practice through a carbon market simulation – buying and selling carbon emission bonds – with the aim of understanding the numerous ways that finance can improve sustainable practices.
